Why do wedding photographers charge so much?
In this day and age of point-and-click digital photography, it can seem like a professional photographer may charge a lot of money for their work. However, there is a lot more that I do than meets the eye. I do a lot of research and visit Gloucestershire and Cotswolds wedding venues.
In addition, there is a lot of creativity and time involved in bringing a photo together including interviewing couples to understand what they want and how this can be delivered.
Finally, there can be a lot of post-production that can be required to make your photo not just good but perfect.
Do you charge more when you're a wedding photographer?
In comparison to my newborn and family photo shoots, yes. This is because unlike my studio work weddings often consume an entire day to cover the entire event where I may take 100s of photos. This then means going through these photos after the event and selecting and then post-processing these into a treasured wedding album of stunning photos.
How do you know if you have the right wedding photographer for you?
Finding the perfect photographer means finding someone who understands the style of photos you want and whether they have experience in delivering these for couples previously. Since it's such a special day don't be afraid to put in a significant amount of time researching. Have a look at the wedding photos you like and then arrange a phone or maybe a face to face meeting and ensure that the photographer really shares and understands your vision. Magda is a real gem . Honestly, this lady deserves to be framed and kept forever. Apart from being an extremely talented photographer, she is genuine, warm and extremely caring human being. She shared our excitement and embraced our whole M&M love story. She became a wonderful part of our lives and our family .
