Your baby’s first birthday/cake smash photoshoot can be done in my studio here in Cheltenham, on a location in the breathtaking Cotswolds, or in the comfort of your own home.
Babies at this stage are full of personality, whether they’re crawling, standing or taking their first steps, and every session is completely unique. You can expect plenty of giggles, a little bit of chaos and lots of sweet expressions as your little one explores, plays and enjoys their cake in my Cheltenham studio. These are the moments that create the most beautiful, natural memories.
It’s such a beautiful age to capture. Some little ones are already taking their first steps, some are happily sitting, and others are on a full crawling adventure. Wherever they are in their journey, this stage is full of personality and so much joy.
While the focus is on your baby, these moments are never just about them. I always gently encourage parents and siblings to join in too. Those relationships are growing and changing every day, and there is something so special about capturing the connection, the laughter and the love you all share together.

Magda is a true professional. She is an absolute gem! This is our second time using her services as we had such a great time with her the last time we done a 1st birthday cake smash.
Both times we used her she was very detailed in what she had to offer and what was likely to happen during the day of the shoot. Very flexible and accommodating with children's costumes/clothes and props! She did everything she could to capture the special occasion and the magic! Very engaging with the children and made sure the venue was nice and warm and really did go above and beyond to get great photos. Magda's work speaks for itself and worth every penny.
