As a maternity and family photographer working across Cheltenham, the Cotswolds, and Gloucestershire, I specialise in relaxed, playful photoshoots designed especially for families with toddlers and young children. My goal isn’t perfect posing, it’s capturing real connection, genuine joy, and the beautiful chaos of your growing family.
Toddlers Don’t Need to “Behave”, They Need to Be Themselves
Your children won’t be asked to stand still, smile on cue, or behave in a way that doesn’t feel natural to them. In fact, most of the time, they won’t even realise I’m taking photos.
I keep sessions fun, engaging, and playful by turning them into little adventures. We play games, explore, sing, dance, move, laugh, and connect. Whether that’s running, jumping, painting, or hanging upside down like a Spiderman, everything is led by your child’s energy and interests.

If you’re a fun-loving family with active toddlers, I’ll lean into movement, laughter, and playful chaos.
If you’re a calm, quiet family who prefers a slower, more chilled vibe, I’ll create space for gentle moments, soft connection, and relaxed interaction.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach here. I tune into you, your children, and what they need in that moment, because that’s how photos that truly reflect your family are created.

Many parents tell me afterwards that the session didn’t feel like a photoshoot at all, it felt like quality time together, soaking up this beautiful chapter before a new baby arrives.
Because one day, these toddlers won’t be toddlers anymore.

Why Children Feel So Comfortable With Me?
Before becoming a photographer, I studied early years and primary pedagogy and graduated with a master's degree.
For years, I worked as an early years and primary school teacher as well as one to one teaching assistant with children with Special needs. And now I work part time as a nursery practitioner with 2-3 year olds.
I absolutely love working with children. Understanding child development, behaviour, and emotional needs allows me to meet children exactly where they are. And honestly? For some reason… children just seem to love me too.
That trust and connection is what allows them to relax, be themselves, and enjoy the experience, which is when the most meaningful images are captured.
