A Spring Photo shoot

Are you thinking of having a photo shoot this Spring?

Spring is definitely the best season to have your outdoor family photoshoot done especially if you would like to add some pop of colour to your life.

In Spring the days are longer and it’s a little bit warmer so you can go out and about with your family, explore the beauty of nature and build the connection with your children. They love spending time with you. Your time and attention is the most precious gift you can give them. And if you’d like, I can be there to help you capture those special memories.

Spring is also great for a maternity photo shoot.

Let me tell you why…

According to Clarissa Pinkola Estés, a poet and psychoanalyst “Every woman looks like a tree. In the deepest layers of her soul she harbours vital roots that pull energy up from the depths to nourish her leaves, flowers and fruit. No one understands from where a woman draws so much strength, so much hope, so much life. Even when they are cut, cut off, shredded, their roots still sprout shoots that will bring everything back to life again. They have a pact with this mysterious source that is Nature.”

I couldn't describe it better. I always compare pregnant women to trees in bloom and the bump to a flower they created…

Mommy & Me sessions are also very popular during the Spring. When it gets a bit warmer, and the flowers are out, it’s so nice for the baby to be exposed to the natural light, fresh air and even some insects. Nature is such an amazing source of sensory stimulation all children need.

If you have a very lively and sunny personality and you would like your photos to really stand out, why not choosing the yellow fields for your shoot?

They are breathtaking and smell is just the sweetest!! Children love being chased in the fields and experiencing the soil and grass under their feet.

Last but not least, spring flowers, such bluebells are a fantastic, natural backdrop for your baby’s 1st birthday session. Flowers are a perfect size for little people, they make them look like giants, which is super cute. Also, woodlands offer so much freedom so your child can walk or run freely. If you also happen to have a dog, that’s just a perfect combination!!

If you are dreaming about beautiful, colourful pictures of yourself and your family, please don’t hesitate to contact me so we can chat and start planning your perfect session.

Love,
